$15,500.00 seems like a lot of money for a 5-day training. Where is the value?

The value is in the roadmap we have put together for you! It starts with a thorough education and certification process. Once you’ve completed the training program, we help you cultivate relationships with our large network of lenders, supply a back office for underwriting deals, and provide ongoing support through on-the-job training! This also includes a logo for your business as well as a website design that you can use to launch your business.

Are you just trainers in this business?

Our involvement in the industry transcends training new brokers! Together we have over a century of experience that allow us to close deals and maintain relevancy in the industry successfully – keeping our students on a solid foundation that allows them to adapt to an ever-changing industry.

What are the expenses involved with starting this business?

In contrast to a franchise, there are limited expenses associated with starting your commercial loan broker business. Basic expenses include but are not limited to the cost of a computer, phone system, printer, and scanner.

How much money can a graduate really make?

Income is directly tied to a myriad of things including each broker’s due diligence, the types of deals a broker pursues, and each deal type’s commission structure. Income is also dependent on an individual’s available time to pursue new deals, their work ethic, and more.

Do I have to have an office to work out of?

You can run your commercial loan broker business from wherever you’d like! Brokers have successfully run their businesses from home, an office space, and even on a yacht!

Is this a franchise?

No, we are not a franchise. We don’t require you to pay royalties or have a brick-or-mortar location. We don’t limit your opportunities to one territory – you can do business across the United States.

Do you take a portion of any commissions your graduates earn?

For the first year, yes, as part of your educational experience will be working closely with our team – getting one-on-one training and direct support so you can reach your goals quickly while gaining hands-on experience.

Do I need experience to be successful?

Experience in the Commercial Lending industry is not required. However, there are specific skills needed to be successful when running your brokerage. Reach out to us to learn more about the necessary skills, and to learn if you’re a good fit.

Can’t businesses just go to their bank to get financing?

Banks decline a majority of transactions across the board for various reasons, leaving business owners to look to the secondary lending industry for help. Our industry has witnessed extensive growth year over year as it continues to support business owners who need financial assistance.

What if I have a partner that wants to come with me to the training?

We would love for you to have a partner attend the training. The additional cost for a partner to attend is $2,000.00.

How do we get business once we leave the training?

During training, we will discuss how you can find leads and how to nurture those leads, so that when you leave, you’re prepared to network with potential clients. We also work to connect you with leads and prospects during our continued education and hands-on learning process.

Will there be competition once I start from other companies or past graduates?

This is a trillion-dollar industry. There is plenty of room for all of us!

Is this an opportunity you can work on part-time?

Yes, but the amount of time put into the business will correlate with the money made. We find that some people start their businesses part-time and then transition into a full-time career as time and resources allow.

Why do lenders need people like your graduates to get business?

Many business owners are unaware of the opportunity to work with these lenders, so our brokers work to bring them together. Brokers are also important to building a lender’s pipeline by bringing them deals they may never see.

I found other loan broker training programs that are less expensive, yet they say they offer the same program as The Commercial Loan Broker Academy?

There are other training programs out there, but we are the first and only Commercial Loan Broker training program that offers a hands-on program designed to give you on-the-job training as well as access to a back office for assistance with underwriting deals.

What kind of support will I have once I complete the training program?

Upon completion of the on-site training, you will have access to an underwriting team, one-on-one deal support, a base of over 240 lenders, a professional marketing team that truly understands your business as well as the commercial lending industry, and a multitude of networking opportunities for building relationships.
